Archways, the quarterly magazine of the Archdiocese of New York, is seeking one or more student reporters to help us cover New York Catholic Youth Day in the Winter 2018-19 edition of Archways and in social media before, during and after the event. Archways reaches more than 400,000 Catholics throughout the 10 counties of the Archdiocese of New York.
As you know, New York Catholic Youth Day gathers over 1,500 high school students for a day filled with music, speakers, service, fun and fellowship. This year’s theme, Be Bold, focuses on Pope Francis’ 2018 World Youth Day message from Luke 1:30, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.” It is our hope that this day serves as an inspiration to know that God has a plan for each and every one of us and that his love is unlimited. This year’s event takes place at the Westchester County Center in White Plains on October 20.
If you are a student writer interested in writing about New York Catholic Youth Day for Archways, please send an email telling us:
